Khushhali Microfinance Bank- Qasur Branch participated in “Micro Finance Awareness Program” held at Aiwan-e-Shah Jahan, District Kasur on October 18, 2017. The event was organized by SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP-BSC) with the objective to bring together various key players of the microfinance industry to talk about their products and service offerings with the general public. Such events aim to increase awareness of the general public about microfinance banks, and allow them an opportunity to directly ask questions and overcome hesitations regarding the use of banking services. These events are part of the plan to support the Financial Inclusion strategy of SBP.
In this event, KMBL, along with other microfinance banks and institutions, displayed and advertised loan and savings products at its stall. KMBL also invited its existing clients to display their merchandise at the bank’s stall and share their experiences of borrowing from KMBL with other potential borrowers.
The event was also attended by Senior Management from SBP. Mr. Adnan Sattar, Distribution Manager at KMBL participated as a guest speaker and shared his experience and knowledge with the participants regarding Microfinance.
