PROMOTING AGRICULTURE THROUGH FARMER'S BETHAKS
As a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, Khushhali Microfinance Bank arranges farmers bethaks in remote rural areas to create awareness on increasing crop yields, efficient utilization of water resources, any new tips and techniques through live talks with experts in partnership with National Agricultural Research Centre. In March 2017, the bethak was arranged in a remote village of Okara, this time on Maize crop and the expert, Dr. Muzammil Hussain, Principal Scientific Officer (Maize) from NARC delivered the talk on Maize Crop and answered the queries by local farmers.
