FATA Students Enrolled in IBA
KHUSHHALI MICROFINANCE BANK EXTENDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO FATA STUDENTS ENROLLED IN IBA

Khushhali Bank Limited (KBL) in association with United States Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded merit-based scholarships to two students of FATA at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi on September 01, 2008. 

Ms. Kay Anske, Consul General, U.S. Consulate, Karachi and Mr. Ghalib Nishtar, President Khushhali Bank Limited, awarded scholarships to the students of Institute of Business Administration (IBA) belonging to the FATA at a Ceremony hosted at the University premises. The Director IBA, Dr. Ishrat Husain, members of faculty and students were present at the event.

Khushhali Bank in association with USAID initiated the Scholarship Program in 2005 at leading Universities across the country. The program provides opportunities to eligible students of marginalized areas in Sindh, Balochistan and FATA acquire an education, ensuring that they are able to earn a degree despite lack of their own financial resources.

These scholarships are merit based and are awarded to students who are qualified for a degree program as per the admission criteria of each university. The scholarships cover the tuition and examination fees, along with course related material and books, boarding and lodging expenses.
