Khushhali Microfinance Bank is committed to promote full and equal participation of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in all aspects of society and development. On the International Human Rights Day 2021, a wheelchair distribution drive was organized by Khushhali Microfinance Bank in collaboration with HANDS Pakistan, Saaya Association of Persons with Disabilities, Community Based Inclusive Development CBID Network Pakistan and Social Welfare Department at Fountain House Farooqabad, Sheikhupura. Wheelchairs were distributed among the physically challenged persons from the underserved communities in an effort to improve their mobility and to encourage their participation in all aspects of society. It was heartwarming to witness smiles on the faces of all participants. KMBL salutes the courage and resilience of Persons with Disabilities and promises to continue its efforts for their inclusion in the society. Through these initiatives, KMBL is making direct contributions to Sustainable Development Goals #8 and #10 by empowering and promoting the social, economic and political inclusion of everyone particularly the Persons with Disabilities and by facilitating their reintegration in the society.
