With a vision to help achieve digital learning experience for the students of under privileged areas, KMBL sponsored a smart board for a community based school in Gulmit, near Hunza.
Al-Amyn Model Higher Secondary School Gulmit was initiated by a community-based organization. The school building is ideally situated in the heart of Gulmit, Gojal (Hunza) surrounded with traced fields and has a peaceful environment. The school comprises of 15 airy and spacious classrooms, a well furnished and equipped science lab, computer lab, library, and environmental room. The courtyard provides enough space for day to day out-door activities. For major events the village polo ground is at a close distance from the school.
The school features a lab with 20- computers on it grounds equipped with the latest computer laptops, students are given classes in basic computer knowledge. The lab also serves as a Distant Learning Center.
The Smart Board sponsored by KMBL is Interactive; it will enhance the students' learning experience as they will have access to Online Resources. Smart Boards are environmentally friendly & low maintenance. It will help increase in interactive instructional tools, create more interest and motivation among students, display attractive graphics, improve lectures with audio-visual tools, provide better instructional materials, and will cater to all learning styles.
