Syed Manzoor Hussain Zaidi is a seasoned banking and finance professional with extensive experience in
commercial, corporate and investment banking, structured and project finance, and financial management. He
has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of United Bank Limited (UBL) since 1 August 2024, having previously
served as Group Executive – Corporate & Investment Banking at UBL and Chief Executive Officer of Engro
Powergen Thar Limited from 2019 to 2023, where he previously served as CFO. His career also includes
senior roles in investment banking and syndications at Allied Bank Limited, Pak Oman Investment Company
Limited and National Bank of Pakistan. He holds an MBA in Finance from Karachi University Business School, is
a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and an Associate Cost and Management Accountant (ACMA),
and has completed the Leading for Results executive education programme at INSEAD. He has also received
gold medals from the University of Karachi for his academic performance in his MBA programme.
